Middle School Services

HELP’s support begins with middle school students focused on college and career readiness and ACT Test Prep. We review the students records and assess both their academic and non-cognitive skills focused on identifying students academic strengths and blind spots, along with their motivation, personality, strengths, learning styles and potential career pathway interests.

6th Grade Focus: Transition from elementary to middle school and the development of a scholar identity starting with the college and career readiness assessment to match students academic and personality profiles to classes, academic tutoring support, electives, extracurricular activities and academic/career related summer camp opportunities to keep them engaged and motivated educationally.

7h Grade Focus: Sustained academic excellence, academic tutoring support, leadership development, exploratory research into potential career interests through intentional experiential school, leadership and extracurricular activities and academic/career related summer camp opportunities to keep them engaged and motivated educationally.

8th Grade Focus: Sustained academic excellence, academic tutoring support, leadership development, and introduction to ACT Test Prep and exploratory research into potential career interests through intentional experiential school, leadership and extracurricular activities and academic/career related summer camp opportunities to keep them engaged, motivated educationally and looking toward high school.
